This is where you come in:
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the timely procurement and delivery of manufacturing equipment components. You will be pivotal to ensuring our site runs smoothly, around the clock by ensuring we have all the right parts, at the right time, kept in order.

Responsibilities include:
  • Co-ordinate the Engineering stores, purchasing and receiving functions at our Ingleburn factory
  • Assist in the preparation of various reports including financial, maintenance and management reports
  • Organisation and maintenance of the stores, its inventory and system
  • Control all aspects of the stores and its systems
  • Negotiate prices and procure parts from agreed suppliers to meet deadlines in line with business objectives
  • Manage and consolidate vendor contracts when appropriate
  • Monitor supplier performance against key measures and work with vendors when expectations are not being met
  • Mediate between supplier and site in the event of disputes
The successful candidate:
  • Ideally, you will have a background in the FMCG industry/industrial food production environment
  • Preferably you will have a trade background and the ability to understand which parts are required at a given time according to our maintenance and site needs
  • You will have a proven ability to stock control
  • Ability to negotiate and manage new and existing supplier contracts
  • Strong computer literacy, preferably with CMMS knowledge (MEX), and previous experience in engineering stock control systems
  • Intermediate Excel skills and experience using purchasing software such as QAD, SAP
  • You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills and pride in your customer excellence (both internal and external)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with people of all levels of the organisation
  • A proactive nature, you are able to stay at the forefront of our site needs and have the ability to think quickly on your feet to problem solve
