This is where you come in:
This newly created role for an eCommerce National Account Manager will play a critical role in driving digital transformation across the organisation. This role is accountable for the management and growth of our Pure Play retailers, and works amongst a passionate team, delivering the best online shopper and consumer experience possible. This role will work in partnership with the Specialty, Digital & eCommerce team to execute the Digital eCommerce roadmap with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure activities achieve our overarching business vision and objectives.
The key accountabilities include growing new and existing Pure Play retailers, achieving and exceeding set budgets, developing and monitoring retail activation and implementing promotional activity while identifying key growth drivers. This role is the main point of contacts internally and externally for the assigned customers, continually offering exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities include:
  • Drive strategic partnerships, focused on mutual growth
  • Managing your customer requirements and any internal support you require
  • Sales and claims tracker update – maintaining, extracting, and actualising based on ex-factory results and scan data
  • Manage promotional submissions & promotional tracking
  • New Product Presentations/ Quarterly Business Reviews – Collation, formatting, and direct contact with marketing/category and project management
  • Sales analysis. forecasting management, liaising with supply chain to ensure sufficient stock weight and deliveries are available to us
  • Primary contact for designated retailers
  • Identify and implement effective joint business plans and customer activation programs
  • Responsible for the commercial P&L of your business, including forecasting and spend management
  • Drive profitability and margin enhancement via effective business planning, pricing and promotional forecasting
  • Management of Trading Terms negotiation including RTM
  
About you:
  • Deep understanding of the eCommerce landscape in Australia, including Brick & Mortar and Pure Play
  • Proven capability in translating insights into commercial plans
  • Deep understanding of the drivers to conversion online, including portfolio proposition, product brand content, user generated content, search, promotions and retailer media
  • Account Management experience within FMCG Channels
  • Understanding of online marketing and e-commerce
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, influencing skills, and stakeholder management
  • Negotiation Training (Sentinel / GAP preferred)
  • New Business Management, Digital Marketing, Field Sales and Category Management experience is highly regarded
  • Experience in the pet industry will set you apart but isn't essential - A passion for pets is though!
