You will have had previous experience in managing a maintenance store and in the timely procurement and delivery of manufacturing equipment components.

This is where you come in…
You will have had previous experience in managing a maintenance store and in the timely procurement and delivery of manufacturing equipment components.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the preparation of accurate financial, maintenance and management reporting
- Control, organisation and maintenance of the store, its inventory and system
- Gain prices and parts from suppliers to meet deadlines within the department as set by the business
- Seek opportunities to minimise the number of vendors we deal with on a regular basis
- Monitor supplier performance and work with vendors to improve performance where necessary
- Mediate between supplier and site in the event of disputes
- Previous experience within a FMCG company/industrial food production environment
- Proven ability to stock control
- Ability to negotiate and manage new and existing supplier contracts
- Computer literate, CMMS and MEX knowledge/experience
- Previous experience in engineering stock control
- Intermediate excel skills and experience using purchasing software such as QAD, SAP
- Analytical and logical problem solving
- Adaptable, flexible and comfortable with ambiguity
- Identifies issues, proactively finds solutions and sees to completion
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with business partners and work collaboratively
- High attention to detail and ability to work logically, consistently and accurately
