This is where you come in...
Reporting to our Head of Sales, you will play a critical role in the development of the overall long-term customer business strategy. You are customer-centric & hungry to drive growth in your customer, ensuring their strategies are incorporated into our own, to develop market-leading business plans grounded in consumer and shopper insights which will ultimately drive mutual growth to develop the category.  With a strong focus on innovation and execution, it's critical that our sales organisation is led by highly skilled and passionate individuals.
   
The role:
  • Managing the branded portfolio in a top grocery retailer
  • Hybrid of strategy and results-focused execution
  • The internal champion of the customer
  • Accountable to develop and implement a strategic, customer-specific business plan
  • Spear-heading collaborative, cross-functional relationships with your customer
  • Collaborate and influence cross-functionally and be a champion for the S&OP process 
  • Be a coach and lead direct reports; ensure they are developing and have clear growth pathways for their career development
About you:
You’re an ambitious FMCG sales leader with a proven track record of success - you’ve done it before and done it well.  Now you’re motivated to make a real change in a dynamic and fast-paced organisation who is changing the game within the pet food industry.

  • Customer focussed, and ready to champion their agenda internally to set the strategic direction for long-term mutual growth
  • Obsessed with execution
  • Metrics-driven to make decisions, but having the ability to deal with ambiguity and complex environments
  • Effective collaboration with value chain partners to ensure operational responsiveness to challenges, and alignment with business imperatives
  • Strong Business and Financial Acumen including an understanding of the commercial P&L
  • Proactive Problem Solving – Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution.
