Real Pet Food Company is on the lookout for a motivated individual to join our Pack. We are looking for a lower north island-based Area Sales Manager to join our Field Sales team and provide excellent service to our customers.  We are a team who are passionate about Real partnerships, Real ambition, Real ethics and working really hard.  Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for representing RPF in the marketplace by developing and maintaining relationships with key customers.  The role will involve:
  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with current customers and prospective customers within the assigned territory.
  • Implement, follow-up and update field sales cycle plans, priorities and focuses for the assigned area.
  • Executing cycle plans in stores, in line with the field sales plans and priorities
  • Responsible for concise and timely feedback on in-store execution of field. Maximise RPFC presence in assigned area within guidelines (ranging, positioning, and space)
  • Ensure constructive & effective leadership and influence over 3rd party Merchandisers.
  • Facilitate team engagement through positive energy, sharing success & challenges.
We are looking for someone who has 5 years plus experience in a similar role with a proven sales record. Ideally based in Wellington, however New Plymouth, Palmerston North or the Hawkes Bay could work as well for the right person.  You will be a team player, willing to go above and beyond for your Pack. 
To be successful in this role you will need:
  • A valid NZ driver licence.
  • To be legally able to work and live in New Zealand.
  • To be physically fit and able lift 20kgs.
  • Be someone who takes pride in their work and ownership of the relationship they build with our customers.
