We are currently looking for an Administration and Inventory Coordinator to support our Planning Manager on all facets of Planning management on site. The role is required to organise, daily, weekly, monthly purchase schedules and purchase materials to meet the production plan. The purchasing is to be organised in such a way, to be effective on minimising or eliminating where reasonably able, all out of Stock issues, whilst maintaining reasonable stock levels & budgeted cost price of Materials as per Company guidelines
You must be exceptionally detail oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the raw and packaging materials at any given time. You will have experience in inventory management, tracking orders, freight and supplier management as well as doing invoicing and dealing with clients over the phone.
• Control and manage inventory, purchase orders, logistics and invoicing
• Ensure the general operations of the business, including manufacturing and client order fulfillment operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal.
• Liaising with the Inventory Stock Controller and ensuring that stock counts are accurate
• Daily data entry of production paperwork and reconciliations of materials to work orders.
• Monitor and follow up on overdue customer accounts
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
• Maintain best practice dashboard and reporting systems
Skills and experience
• 3-5 years warehouse or manufacturing ideally
• Financials understanding and preferably qualifications
• Strong administrative experience essential
• Experience in supplier management and invoicing
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently
• Strong technology skills (specifically in Microsoft Excel, Word or Google Sheets)
• Self-starter who is able to work unsupervised and prioritises work accordingly
• Strong attention to detail with a natural concern for quality and standards
• Strong drive to accomplish results, setting goals and executing to deadlines
